Why is the WebMuseum in English?

Given the distribution of the WebMuseum visitors (see below), and according to my personal experience as sole WebMuseum maintainer, it seems that the wisest language is probably English. However contributors choose the language they want, hence some texts may be in other languages, even if I'd rather have them all in the same one.

Please do not ask me why the WebMuseum isn't written in (*), wasting both of our times. I would suggest instead writing to the appropriate official organisation to tell them what you think of this webspace and ask if they would consider helping/supporting a translated version.

I already try to do the impossible expanding and improving the WebMuseum in its current status; doing a multilingual version on my own would require a miracle, or external, official help.
